Our PAC will be sponsoring people to take their FoodSafe to help with food programs in the school. If you are interested in taking FoodSafe Level 1 for free, please email: BrooklynExec@gmail.com

Hot Lunch & Salad Bar Ordering

We’re excited to welcome you back to another year of the Hot Lunch & Salad Bar Program! Here’s everything you need to know to get started:

Setting Up Your Account

Each school year, families need to create a new account at brooklyn.hotlunches.net.

Use access code BLHL.
Register your child(ren) and make sure to select their classroom so lunches are delivered correctly.
Don’t worry—your information from past years is saved, but a new account is required annually.

Ordering & Volunteering

You can order lunches for the current period only.
When placing orders, you’ll see a box asking if you can volunteer. Helpers are needed from about 11:00 am–12:00 pm, and we typically need up to 4 volunteers per week.

Payment Options

Pay online by credit card at the time of ordering, or
Send an EMT to brooklynhotlunch@gmail.com (no password required—please include your child’s name in the message).
Please note: cash and cheques cannot be accepted.

Deadlines & Absences

Orders must be placed before the deadline—unfortunately, late orders can’t be accepted.
If your child will be away on Hot Lunch day, please call the office before 11:00 am if you’d like us to:
- Save the meal,
- Give it to a sibling, or
- Arrange a pickup (between 11:30–12:00 or after school).
Please call rather than email, as PAC volunteers are usually busy preparing food and may miss your message.
Any unclaimed meals are donated so that other children can enjoy them.
