Our purpose is to support Brooklyn Elementary families through events, leadership, development and involvement in our children’s educational journey.
The Brooklyn PAC is proud of our past projects – here are a few!
- Annual Fun Fair – games, bouncy castles, face painting, hot dogs & more!
- Library Support – new books & reading materials
- Classroom Support – non-curricular classroom items, such as iPad purchases
- Field Trips – taking learning outside the classroom!
- School Garden – allowing children the opportunity to learn to grow & care for plants
- Hot Lunch Program – weekly hot meals & a pay-it-forward option so everyone is included!
- Playground Additions – two gaga ball pits added recently add lots of fun at recess
- The Enchanted Forest – a special place in the trees for students to use their imagination with ‘loose parts’
- Birthday Books – a gift of reading for every child on their special day
- Welcome to Kindergarten – an important first look at starting school for new students and parents
- Bike to School Week – building community & staying active
- Outdoor Classroom – a beautiful place to foster creativity and take learning outdoors
- Updated Crosswalk on Guthrie
- School Dances
- Teacher Appreciation
- Support for Grade 7 graduation
