What does the PAC do?

Our purpose is to support Brooklyn Elementary families through events, leadership, development and involvement in our children’s educational journey.

The Brooklyn PAC is proud of our past projects – here are a few!

  • Annual Fun Fair – games, bouncy castles, face painting, hot dogs & more!
  • Library Support – new books & reading materials
  • Classroom Support – non-curricular classroom items, such as iPad purchases
  • Field Trips – taking learning outside the classroom!
  • School Garden – allowing children the opportunity to learn to grow & care for plants
  • Hot Lunch Program – weekly hot meals & a pay-it-forward option so everyone is included!
  • Playground Additions – two gaga ball pits added recently add lots of fun at recess
  • The Enchanted Forest – a special place in the trees for students to use their imagination with ‘loose parts’
  • Birthday Books – a gift of reading for every child on their special day
  • Welcome to Kindergarten – an important first look at starting school for new students and parents
  • Bike to School Week – building community & staying active
  • Outdoor Classroom – a beautiful place to foster creativity and take learning outdoors
  • Updated Crosswalk on Guthrie
  • School Dances
  • Teacher Appreciation
  • Support for Grade 7 graduation
